This is so great! I think intuitive movement is something that comes with practice. I used to be similar to you in that I would go all-in on a “routine” and then bail and form an aversion to movement altogether. It’s taken years of practice to learn how to listen to my body. Keep doing it your way, turtleneck and all!
It was the first time I received your newsletter, and I absolutely loved it. I mostly practice yoga falling out of bed in my pjs and just forcing myself to walk over to the living room and get on my mat. Since I do not force myself to wear any fancy yoga outfits I also feel like I step more into who I am in the present and not who I want or have to be. So thumbs up for turtleneck yoga 💪🏼 excited to read more from you 🌀🫶🏻
I have no doubt in my mind you’ve probably already read this and from the way you write it sounds like you’re already a parts girl but in the sliver of a chance that you haven’t, I highly recommend reading “No Bad Parts” (actually, listen to the audiobook). Coming from someone with a fellow workout instructor/drill sergeant in there! 💛
Love the idea of having clothes ready to go (and brushing teeth in the dark) 💓

TYSM for the shoutout - and I love this reframing of movement. Pilates in a turtleneck sounds amazing. Yoga in pajamas is a favorite of mine.
Yoga in pajamas is just plain yummy

I've never read the full thing! But dip into parts work a lot. It's certainly on my list <3
